Gurdwara Falahai Sahib is located about 3 kilometers away from Alamgir village, outside the village of Dulea. The gurdwara is surrounded by a beautiful grove of trees. In the year 1705 A.D., the Tenth Master, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, traveling through Jharr Sahib, Machhiwara, Lal Kalan, Rampur, Kanech, and Alamgir villages, arrived at Dulea. Here, Guru Ji tied his horse to a Falahai tree and rested for the night. Guru Ji sent a message through Bhai Maan Singh to two Sikh chiefs of Raipur Fort, Bhai Jattu and Bhai Sawai, asking them to come and meet him. However, they did not come. Guru Ji then departed from there and went to the village of Ratna (Tahli Sahib). When the devoted women of Raipur learned that Guru Ji’s command had not been obeyed, they repented and went to seek forgiveness, carrying a shawl and parshad (holy offering) to the village of Ratna. Pleased with their devotion, Guru Ji blessed them, saying that they would rule and their lineages would establish chieftainships.
