The SGPC has issued new directives to all Gurdwara management committees across the region. According to the guidelines, the volume of loudspeakers installed in Gurdwaras must remain restricted strictly within the Gurdwara premises. The SGPC has also ordered that loudspeaker sound must be turned off completely during the recitation of the Ardaas. Additionally, the SGPC has instructed Gurdwara management committees to ensure proper and comfortable residential facilities for Granthi Singhs serving in the Gurdwara. Committees have been asked to prioritize the housing requirements of Granthis without delay.
