Located in the Takhat Sri Damdama Sahib, in the town of Talwandi Sabo, the renowned GurSikh and calligrapher Bhai Mani Singh Ji oversaw the completion of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji in its entirety. The Tenth Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, blessed the land of Malwa with this sacred scripture. The editing of Sri Adi Granth was completed by the Fifth Guru, the epitome of martyrs, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, who compiled the composition of the Gurus, saints, and devotees to form the creation of Sri Adi Granth. By incorporating the hymns of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib Ji in Sri Adi Granth, Emperor Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji structured the scriptural foundation of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. In the city of Abchal Nagar Sri Hazoor Sahib Nanded, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji bowed before Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and established the perpetual legacy of the Word Guru for the Sikh community. With daily morning and evening prayers, the Word Guru is illuminated to emphasize that Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji is paramount for Sikhs.
